The Time Travelers Tarot: Your Guidebook Options Explained

When I set out to design a tarot deck, I never expected to become “the first” in two different categories. Yet here we are. The Time Travelers Tarot is the first tarot deck built around the theme of time travel, and it is also the first tarot deck fully designed by the author of the book series it comes from. That combination makes this deck both highly collectible and fully functional for readings. It is meant to be used, loved, and explored.
This blog is here to walk you through your options for getting the full‑sized guidebook that accompanies the deck.
What Makes the Guidebook Special
The guidebook is a 120‑page, full‑color companion designed to bring the world of Jamie Poole to life. Every card is illustrated in color, paired with two Rider–Waite descriptions: one traditional, and one more specific to the imagery and symbolism of The Time Travelers Tarot. The book also introduces the lore and mythology of Jamie Poole’s universe, making the deck approachable whether you’ve met Jamie before or not.
If you love tarot, this deck could easily become one of your favorites. If you love collectible decks, this one stands apart.
Over the coming days, I’ll be posting videos on social media to demonstrate the guidebook, show sample pages, and highlight some of the unique features inside.
How to Get the Guidebook
You have several options, depending on how you prefer to collect and read.
1. Kindle and Print Editions
Beginning April 1, the guidebook will be available internationally in both Kindle and paperback formats on Amazon. If you cannot wait until the cards release on May 26, this is the perfect way to get an early look at the artwork and the world behind the deck.
2. Autographed Guidebook with the Deck
If you prefer a collectible edition, you can purchase The Time Travelers Tarot deck and receive an autographed copy of the guidebook when you buy them together. Once the cards go on sale, both the deck and the signed guidebook will be available on Etsy.
For a deck like this, many collectors will want the full set, but I believe in giving you choices. Whether you want the digital version, the print version, or the signed edition, you can get the guidebook in the way that suits you best.
Don’t Miss the Early Bird Special
When the deck launches, there will be an early bird discount available for a limited time. If you know you want this deck, that will be the moment to act.
